Donations may be made in her memory to Mary Ray Memorial Schoolhouse, 771 Raymond-Shedden Avenue, Newnan, GA 30263. Having attended school there, she was so proud of the restoration of the building and the fact that it had been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
