Mr. Nick Groves

Mr. Nick Groves, age 71, of Hogansville, GA, died at Hospice LaGrange on August 9, 2014. 

He was born on Sept. 4, 1942, in England to the late Harold Frederick Groves and Violet Evelyn Crow Groves. Mr. Groves was a quantity surveyor by trade and also was a stamp collector. Along with collecting stamps, Mr. Groves enjoyed watching soccer matches, a sport he learned to love while playing throughout school.

Mr. Groves is survived by his wife, Rhonda Groves of Hogansville; sons, Julian Groves of England, Jonathan Groves of Israel and Chris Satterwhite of Hogansville; daughter, Amber Zell of Hogansville; brother, Paul Groves of England; and one sister, Lynn McKee of Hogansville. Mr. Groves is also survived by six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13 at Living By Faith Church in Newnan. Pastor Terry Calhoun and Rev. Doug Bates will be officiating.
