Mrs. Tommie Hames

Mrs. Tommie Hames, age 81, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at her home in Newnan. She was born April 29, 1933, in Forsyth, GA, to the late James Neal and Ethyl Neal.

The funeral service is Wednesday, July 30, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan, 38 Jackson St., with Rev. Rick Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The visitation is Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home.

Tommie is survived by her husband, Tom Hames; son, Jim Hames and his wife LaDonna; grandchildren, Tyler Hames, Brandon Cason, Crystal Ricks and 3 great-grandbabies. She is also survived by her siblings Mabel Ivey, Nell Johnston and Joy Pope.
