Mr. Robert Allen Moore

Robert Allen Moore, aka “Big Daddy,” went to his final home on July 15, 2014.

Born in Memphis, TN on January 11, 1954, Robert is survived by his brother, Johnny; sisters Sandra Kay & Jo Carol; sons, Joe & Randy; and grandchildren, Lanie, Rylee, McKenzie and Logan.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude; father, Daniel; and brother, Gary.

Robert resided in Newnan, GA, with the love of his life, Margaret “Maggie” Rainwater.

After retiring from being a truck driver in 2011, he finally found his calling as a classic country radio DJ for Clay’s Country Radio.

His love of country music, family & friends was second to none, and having all of these together made him the happiest. We are comforted in knowing that he is now pain free and singing with the angels.

A memorial in his honor was held Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 3 p.m. at the home of Maggie Rainwater. Higgins Hillcrest Chapel,770-253-4723
