Mrs. Mary J. Smith

Mrs. Mary Helen Johnson Smith of Sharpsburg passed away Monday, July 7, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Herman Smith. She is survived by her sons, Herman (Allen) Smith and his wife Karen of Newnan, Mike Smith and his wife Lin of Sharpsburg, Barry Smith and his wife Cindy of Alpharetta, Jack Smith and his wife Pam of Sharpsburg, Dan Smith and his wife Martha of Wedowee, Ala.; brother, Charles Richard Johnson of Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Stephanie Whitten, Richie Smith, Nickie Smith-Brittain, Cristie Lancaster, Renee Smith, Eugene Smith, Ian Smith, Tony Smith, Steve Smith, Michelle Holland, Danny Smith; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home in Fairburn with Pastor Harry Parkerson officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
