Ms. Sue Carolyn Winslett Neely

Sue Carolyn Winslett Neely, 71, of Newnan, GA, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. She was born Dec. 27, 1942, in Habersham County, GA, to the late William Henry Winslett & Lou Emma Goss Winslett.

Ms. Neely graduated from Campbell High School in Fairburn and from business school in Atlanta. She worked as an executive secretary for Dobbs International/Gate Gourmet. She was a longtime member of Royal Baptist Church.

The funeral is Friday, May 2 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Dennis officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The visitation is Thursday evening between 6 - 8 at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan. Survivors include children, Mark Neely, Suzanne (Scott) Moore, Matt Neely, all of Newnan; sister, Judy Major of Simpsonville, SC; brother, James Winslett of White, GA; grandchildren, Neely Moore, Reagan Moore, Jackson Neely, Hannah Neely, Elizabeth Neely, Jason Moore; and great-grandchildren, Chandler Moore, Chase Moore.
