Mrs. Linda Elizabeth Smith

Mrs. Linda Elizabeth Smith, 67, of Luthersville, GA, died at Piedmont Newnan Hospital April 7, 2014. She was born in Newnan Aug. 7, 1946, to the late William George Smith and Lucille Haynes Smith. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Carl Smith, Martha Lucille Smith, Georgia Ruth Watson and Ellen Mae Rogers.

Mrs. Smith was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. Her love for animals made her a pet rescuer. She also enjoyed working in her flower gardens.

Surviving are her brother, Tom Smith (Carolyn) of Newnan; sister, Barbara Jean Cochran of Tyrone; many nieces and nephews. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.higginshillcrestchapel.com .

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Brian Hosmer and Deacon Kenneth Spinks officiating.
