Mr. George Robert Henderson Sr.

Mr. George Robert Henderson Sr., age 84, of Newnan, GA, passed away Jan. 11, 2014 at Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin, GA. He was born March 3, 1929, in Coweta County.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Ruth Lavonia Henderson. George is survived by his children, George Robert Henderson Jr. of Alpharetta, Debbie Barron of Warner Robbins and Cindy Henderson of Newnan. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lori Harris, Morgan Balkcom, Matt Balkcom, Henderson Barron and Marissa Barron. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Zeke Scott, Grayson Harris, Aubrey Balkcom and Zoe Balkcom.

The visitation is Wednesday, Jan. 15, beginning at noon and the service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Rev. David Arrington and Brother Larry Scott officiating and burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
