Mr. Elvin Brown Jr.

Mr. Elvin Brown Jr. passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at Atlanta Medical Center. He was born on March 27, 1954, to the late Elvin Brown Sr. and Lethia Mae Sumerlin in Newnan.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Brown and sister, Lou Evelyn Ransby. He leaves to cherish his memories to one daughter, DeAndra Brown; a loyal companion, Bettina Maynard; two brothers, Jerry Sumerlin and Jimmy Sumerlin; three sisters, Shirley Hines, Serene Coppage, and Patricia Sewell; one loving aunt, Thelma Head; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 11, 1 p.m. at the Roscoe Jenkins Chapel. Interment will follow at Eastview Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be Friday, Jan. 10, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
