Jimmy Floyd Yarbrough

Jimmy Floyd Yarbrough, 70, of Newnan passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013. 

He was born July 30, 1943 in Carroll County to Henry Floyd Yarbrough and Delora Vasti Phillips Yarbrough. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Charles Douglas Yarbrough.

Mr. Yarbrough was a member of Elim Baptist Church. He was a truck driver and worked for the William L. Bonnell Co. & Eckerd Distribution.

The funeral will be Sunday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Elim Baptist Church Cemetery.

The visitation is Saturday evening between 6-8 at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA.

Survivors include wife, Virginia Story Yarbrough; mother, Delora Vasti Yarbrough; daughters, Jamie Tipton, Lauren (E.J.) Kee, Angie (Shawn) Reagor, Allison (Danny) Cofield; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
