Mr. Francis 'Frank' A. Ruttinger Sr.

 Mr. Francis “Frank” A. Ruttinger Sr., born April 8, 1938, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013.

He was married to his childhood sweetheart Barbara for 56 years. He was the loving father of seven sons and two daughters, Frank Jr. and Jennie, Frederick, Tina Ruttinger Shupe and Perry, Darrell, Randall and Julie, Teresa Ruttinger Gilbert, Douglas (deceased), Craig and Jane, and Scott. He was affectionately called Pappa by his 24 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Frank was granted a U.S. patent on Nov. 18, 1997, for his invention of a method and apparatus for forming a multi-layer perform. He was awarded the president award for Best Employment Involvement Team in 1998. He retired from Crown Cork and Seal as a senior project engineer. He was avid about his woodworking, bird watching, gardening, hunting and fishing, and he loved his family.
