Paul C. Kelly Sr., Senior Chief, US Navy (Ret)
Mr. Paul C. Kelly Sr., Senior Chief, U.S. Navy (Ret), age 79, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. He was born Oct. 21, 1934, in New Brighton, Pa., the son of George T. Kelly and Helen Boyle Kelly.
Preceding Chief Kelly in death are his parents, George T. Kelly and Helen Boyle Kelly, and his son, Michael Scott Kelly. He is survived by the mother of his children, Beverly Ann Kelly of Chesapeake, Va.; his sons, Paul C. Kelly Jr. of Sharpsburg, Ga., Kevin Lee Kelly and Shawn Patrick Kelly, both of Virginia Beach, Va.; his grandsons, Paul C. Kelly III and Christian B. Kelly of Sharpsburg, Ga., Kevin Kelly, Joshua Kelly and Austin Kelly of Virginia Beach, VA, and Christopher Kelly of Conneaut, Oh.; great-grandson, Michael Cayden Yielding of Fairburn, Ga.

He was stationed in Norfolk, Va., Washington, D.C., Morocco, Africa, and in Japan. Following his military retirement, he worked for the U.S. Civil Service in communications for another 20 years.
His hobbies were anything having to do with technology; he loved building and fixing computers, televisions, etc.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, Nov. 14, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at his home, 131 Camden Lane, Sharpsburg, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Kelly at Alzheimer's Foundation of America (Alzfdn.org).
Funeral services will be held in Virginia at a later date.
