Mrs. Georgia Mae White, the only child, was born in Carroll County on Nov. 1, 1935, to the late Ollie V. Hall and Henry Bailey. She entered into eternal rest on Oct. 15, 2013.
Georgia attended school in Carroll County. She joined The First Baptist Church of Carrollton at an early age. She united with The Zion Hill Baptist Church in her late years under the leadership of the late Rev. W. J. Johnson, who she respected dearly.
Georgia was married to the late James White Sr. To this union six children were born: James White Jr., Henry Lee White, Anthony J. White, Debra White Stegall, and Cynthia White Render, and Michael White.
She was preceded in death by one son: Henry Lee White.
Georgia leaves to cherish her memories two devoted daughters, Debra Stegall (Ray), Minister Cynthia Render (Jeff); three sons, Bishop James White Jr., Anthony White, and Michael White (Carolyn); daughter in-law, Jackie White Pittsfield of Massachusetts; 29 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.
She was a person that put her trust in God and loved everyone unconditionally. Georgia, as a mother, sacrificed much for her family. She especially sacrificed for her grandson Rod Williams whom she helped raise. She always had an open ear for anyone that needed to talk. In her 77 years of living, God allowed many to be blessed by her beautiful presence.
