Mr. Tim Page

Mr. Tim Page, 55, of Palmetto, GA, went to be with Christ Jesus on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013.

A loving husband of 34 years, Tim is survived by his wife, Mary; mother-in-law, Frances Mitchell; sister, Linda Perry; brother and wife, Paul & Renita Page; uncle and aunt, Dave and Alice Emmrich; cousins, Steve Emmrich and Deann Reeve, and their families.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Nancy Page.

Tim was born May 15, 1958, in Ft. Knox, KY. Tim loved the Lord with all his heart and is now in heaven with his Savior. He was a gentle soul, kind to all, and loved animals. Tim loved Braves baseball and the Michigan Wolverines.

Tim stayed so positive after his diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer in 2009. He never asked 'Why, me?' or questioned God during this struggle. Tim was never afraid of death, even at the end as his faith was strong and he knew he would be with the Lord.

A memorial service/celebration of life will be held in the historic sanctuary of First Baptist Church in Newnan on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 3 p.m. with a family and friends reception afterwards in the fellowship hall. Dr. Jimmy Dale Patterson will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tim's name to Gideons International, SW Christian Care in Union City, GA or First Baptist Church in Newnan for their missions ministries.
