Mr. Lewis Wheathall Lamson

Mr. Lewis Wheathall Lamson, 94, of Newnan, GA, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. He was born on Oct. 15, 1918, to the late Lewis Lamson and Gertrude Wheathall Lamson.

Mr. Lamson is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Long Lamson. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Hughes; granddaughters, Megan and husband Joseph Webb, Jamie Morgan Hughes, and Cassie and her husband Christopher Mason. He is also survived by his two great- grandchildren, Katie Grace and Aubree.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2525 Hwy. 34 E., Newnan, GA 30265. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mckoon.com.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. at the family home with Rev. Dan Atkins officiating.
