Mrs. Pare Lee "Pat" Lowery

Mrs. Pare Lee "Pat" Lowery quietly ended her time on Earth in the early hours of Saturday morning.

She was born Pare Lee Titshaw on August 17, 1921. Her parents, S. Justin and Winnie Bell Price Titshaw, preceded her in death. Her son, Donald Steven Lowery, was killed in The Vietnam War in 1967. Her husband, Merrell H. Lowery, died in 1971.

Pat led a quiet life focused on home, church and nurturing her family. She had an intense affection for yard work and making things grow. She used those skills during the years she was working for Coweta Greenhouses. She was a member of New Horizons Baptist Church.

Mrs. Lowers is survived by her children, Nancy Arrowood of Hogansville, Joe Lowery of Newnan, Walter (and Melanie)Lowery of Newnan, Elayne (and Tommy) Hutchens of Covington, Russ (and Cindy) Lowery of Whitesburg.

Funeral arrangements are by McKoon Funeral Home at 38 Jackson Street, where the family will receive friends on Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
