Mr. Frank Pullen
Frank Pullen, 66, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 surrounded by his family at his home in Newnan, GA.
He was born May 31, 1947 in Etowah, TN to the late Rev. Homer Pullen and Nora Green Pullen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Estelle Pullen; siblings, Patricia Pullen, Mr. Carroll Pullen and Leona Duke.
Frank was a retiree from the U.S. Air Force and the Air National Guard after 20 years of service. He retired from Eastern Airlines as it was dissolved. Finally he retired from the Coweta County Sheriff's office where he worked as a detention officer and Deputy Sheriff for 17 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Newnan.
The funeral will be Monday, Aug. 5, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Arp officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Veterans Cemetery Rd, Canton, GA.
The visitation is Saturday and Sunday evenings between 6-8 at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions can be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church Mission Fund, 3911 Highway 154 Newnan, Ga 30265.

Survivors include wife, Marilyn Pullen; children, Tanya Martin, Jason Minix; Matthew Thomas and his wife Tiffany; sisters, Dottie Thomas of Chamblee, Lois Legg of Atlanta; grandchildren, Tori, Amanda, Jason Jr., Alexis, Abigail; and numerous nieces and nephews.
