Mr. Billy Ray Davis

Mr. Billy Ray Davis, 58, of Newnan, died at Piedmont Newnan Hospital on July 27, 2013.

Mr. Davis was born on December 14, 1954. He served in the United States Marine Corp for 21 years, with his final rank being a Gunnery Sergeant.

Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ray Davis. Surviving are his wife, Dondra Davis; mother, Evelyn Davis; sons, Justin Davis of Pennsylvania, Wilbur Brown of Newnan, Michael Brown of Senoia and Dillian Caldwell of Newnan; daughters, Margie Davis of Pennsylvania, April Arrington of Newnan; sister, Debra Mae Hudson of Eatonton; 17 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Bethlehem Baptist Church with pastors Jimmy Evans and Brian Hosmer officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until service time.
