Ann Cromwell Glover Parrott
Ann Cromwell Glover Parrott, 95, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at her home in Newnan.
She was born August 11, 1917 in Newnan, GA to the late Clifford Banks Glover and Rebecca Knight Glover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Thomas Sargent Parrott, Jr., son, Thomas Sargent Parrott III, M.D., sister Carolyn Clarke Glover, and brother Clifford Banks Glover.
Mrs. Parrott was a graduate of Randolph Macon Women's College and was an educator in the Coweta County School System for over 35 years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church where she was very faithful and involved through her regular presence in the Joy Sunday School Class and the Women's Mission Union.
She was a member of the Driftwood Garden Club and an avid gardener, following her achievement of the Georgia Master Gardener designation, she shared her knowledge and experience for many years to individuals and groups throughout Georgia. She served as the longtime Secretary of Delta Kappa Gamma teacher's sorority.
The funeral is Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 14 West Broad St, Newnan with Dr. Joel Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The visitation is Monday evening between 6:00-8:00 at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St, Newnan, GA. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions can be made to Central Baptist Church, P.O.
