Mrs. Carolyn Louise Taylor Sorrells, 66, of Hogansville, GA, died on March 3, 2013, at 1:35 p.m. at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. She was born in Hogansville, GA, to the late Refus Olin Taylor & Mattie Lee Allen Taylor.
She and her husband owned and operated C&F Food Store in Forest Park, GA, for thirty years. She was baptized a Jehovah’s Witness and became part of the Franklin Kingdom Hall in 1996. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Sorrells, and brother, Donnie Taylor.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy & husband Doug Helton of Franklin, GA, Kim & husband Berod Parker of Atlanta, GA, Connie Fletcher of Woodbridge, VA, Sharon Regan of Woodbridge, VA; son, David & wife Anne Sorrells of Inwoods, WV; brothers, Richard & wife Lois Taylor of Smithfield, VA, Barry & wife Cathy Taylor of Whitesburg, GA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 9 from noon to 2 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA, and a memorial service will follow in the McKoon Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with Brother Joel Richardson officiating.
