Mrs. Carolyn Grace Lenning, age 71, of Newnan, Ga., died at her residence Feb. 14, 2013, following an extended illness. She was born in Atlanta Aug. 12, 1941, to the late Hewlett Duncan and Mary Elizabeth Allen Duncan. She retired from Kmart, but spent most of her time at the “Franklin Road Flea Market” where she shared her love of crafts among her many friends she adored.
Carolyn ascends the stairway to heaven behind her mother, Mary Cook; her father, B.H. Duncan; and sister, Helen Dupree. She is survived by her beloved husband, George Lenning; sons, Tony Lenning (Beverly) and Andrew Lenning (Amanda), all of Newnan; daughter, Sherry Bennett (Mike) of Kennesaw; grandchildren, Trina Morgan (Joe), Michael Lenning, Emily Lenning, Ben Lenning, Andrew Bennett (Karen), Julia Hildoer (Patrick), Kyle Bennett; great-grandchildren, twins Kayleigh and Kameron Guthrie, and Calla Bennett; loyal pet, Charlie.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17, at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel with Rev. Brian Hosmer officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Saturday, 5-8 p.m.
