Mr. William 'Glynn' Wallace Sr.
Mr. William “Glynn” Wallace Sr., of McDonough, GA, passed away at Sacred Journey Hospice on Feb. 8, 2013.
Mr. Wallace was a resident of Lake City for 50 years.
A service was held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. Rev. John Martin officiated.
The family accepted friends Monday evening from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment was in Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Doris Wallace; his parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Survivors include his daughters, Glenda Wilson and David of Concord, Teresa Wallace of Griffin, Barbara West of McDonough, William Wallace Jr and Pattie of Newnan, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to Sacred Journey Hospice, 138 Peach Dr., McDonough, GA 30253. Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors, Morrow, GA, 770-961-2828, is in charge of arrangements.
