Mr. Richard Michael Hukka
Mr. Richard Michael Hukka, 76, of Newnan, GA, formerly of Hibbing, MN & Ft.Lauderdale, FL, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at home surrounded by his wife and children.
Mr. Hukka was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert & Irene Hukka; brother, George Hukka; a sister, Barbara Maki, all who were of Hibbing, MN.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sandra Hukka, of Newnan; mother-in-law, Lola Miller, Newnan; 6 children, Cathy Carter, Lynnwood, WA, Cindy West (Jeff), Bremen, GA, Karen Miles (Chris), Eugene, OR, Thomas D. Carter (Ruth), Plantation, FL, Peter Hukka, of Jim Thorpe, PA, Pamela Hukka, West Palm Beach, FL; 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane Denison (Bob), of Hibbing, and Jean Ann Hukka, Hibbing; brother-in-law Kaino Maki, Hibbing; and@Obit Text: many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held in residence on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m.
