• Gertrude Andrews Atwater, 93, formerly of Newnan, GA, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Governor’s Glen Assisted Living in Forest Park, GA. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at Unity Christian Church, 426 Rivers Road, Fayetteville. Viewing is Friday, Feb. 8 from 11 a.m. 8 p.m. The family will have visitation Friday, Feb. 8 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. • Gordon A. Beall, 83, of Hogansville, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8 in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with burial in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6 until 9 Thursday night.
