Mr. William Henry Spradlin Sr., age 71, of Newnan, GA, passed away on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Piedmont Hospital. He was born on April 28, 1941, in Carroll County, GA, to the late Ruben Henry Spradlin and Mildred Hendrix Spradlin. He was an active member of Church of God of The Union Assembly.
He is survived by his son, William Henry Spradlin Jr.; daughter, Wanda Sharie (Tammy) Spradlin; son, Ricky Glenn (Tracie) Spradlin; daughter, Vicky Lynn (Gerald) Pogue; daughter, Jessica Lynn (Christopher) Smith; son, Tracey Dewberry; brother, J. W. Spradlin; brother, Arnold Spradlin; sister, Marie Phillips; brother, Dennis Spradlin; sister, Patricia Moody; brother, Gardner Spradlin; brother, Horace Spradlin; brother, Joseph Spradlin; sister, Katherine Washington; sister, Barbara Ann Emory; brother, Robert Spradlin; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and all his church family.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Church of God of The Union Assembly. Brother Johnny Hughes, Brother Jurandon Hughes and Brother Jesse Hughes officiated. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family received friends on Monday, Feb. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home.
