Mr. Richard Harmon Scoggins
Mr. Richard Harmon Scoggins, age 60, of McDonough, died on December 30, 2012 at the Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Mr. Scoggins was born in Fulton County on August 4, 1952 to Ernest Newton Scoggins and Dorothy Simpson Scoggins. His father preceded him in death.
He was a Truck Driver by trade working for the Estes Trucking Company and proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Scoggins is survived by his brother, Brian Ernest Scoggins and his sisters, Sue Reid and Martha Cook, as well as other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the College Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday morning beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time.
