Mr. Johnny Gary Phillips, age 62, of Fayetteville, GA, died at Southwest Christian Care on Dec. 18, 2012.
He was born on June 11, 1950, in Ola, Georgia, to the late Darvin Phillips and Margaret Presley Phillips. He was a mechanic for Beaudry Ford for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Nelms Gibson; daughters, Jennifer Floyd and her husband Chris, Amanda Farmer and her husband Greg, Honey Michelle Phillips and her companion Michelle; son, Johnny Gary Phillips Jr; brother, Darvin Phillips; sister, Frances Stroud; several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22 at New Beginning Baptist Church with Brother Ken Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at New Beginning Baptist one hour prior to the service.
