Mrs. Lunelle Overton
Mrs. Lunelle Overton, age 84, of Newnan, died November 22, 2012 at her residence.
A native of Coweta County, she was born April 19, 1928 and was one of two children born to the late John P. and Annie Lu Millians Haines.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Olin Thomas Overton, her son, David Overton and her only sibling, Billy Haines.
Mrs. Overton was a longtime employee of Playtex at their Newnan location. She was a member of East Newnan Baptist Church.
Surviving Mrs. Overton are her son, Darryl Overton, his wife Denise and her granddaughter, Dakota, all of Sharpsburg.
Funeral arrangements are by McKoon Funeral Home at 38 Jackson Street. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 27th beginning at 12:00 noon.
The graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery with Dr. Gary Howard officiating.
