• George E. Green, 92, of Newnan, GA, died Nov. 17, 2012. Visitation was held on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. with a wake service at 7 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home in Peachtree City, GA. A funeral Mass will be held Friday, Nov. 30, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Newnan. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
• Helen Nadine Dye Johnson, 93, of Gainesville, and formerly of Newnan, GA, died Nov. 18. 2012. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the graveside of Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 p.m. until service time at McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, GA.
