• Barbara Rodgers Laster, of Palmetto, GA, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012. A funeral was held Monday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, GA. Burial was in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
• Cecil Taylor, 88, of Newnan, GA, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012. Funeral is 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 in the chapel of Mount Olivet Funeral Home, Ft. Worth, Texas. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 at the funeral home.
• Rose Elizabeth (Becky) Valentine of Luthersville, GA, died Nov. 5, 2012. The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at Luthersville United Methodist Church with remains placed in state at 10 a.m. Burial in Luthersville UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory, Fairburn, GA.
• Frank L. White, 55, of Newnan, GA, died Nov. 6, 2012, at Doctors Hospice in Riverdale, GA. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Sewell Mortuary Inc., Grantville, GA.
