Mr. James L. Jackson, age 64, of Grantville, GA, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012.
Mr. Jackson was born June 19, 1948, in Newnan, GA, son of the late William Dewey Jackson and Lois Williamson Jackson. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a lifelong resident of Grantville, was a member of the Baptist church, and was retired from the city of Grantville.
Survivors include his wife, Paige Jackson of Grantville; sons, Anthony Jackson of Grantville, James Lee (Joey) Jackson of Sharpsburg; sisters, Jean Hayes of Newnan, Joy Alford of Georgetown, TN, Marie Drake of Littleton, CO, Diane Hannah of Roanoke, AL; brother, L H. Jackson of Grantville; and grandchildren, Audrey Jackson and Austin Jackson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3 in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Rev. Jonathan Hannah and Rev. Randy Gilbert officiating.
