• Garry L. Bolen, 43, of Newnan, GA, died Oct. 6, 2012. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family received friends Monday 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
• Infant twins Mason Bourque and Landon Bourque were born Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS. Mason died Oct. 7, and his twin brother, Landon, died Oct. 8. • Doris (Ball) Bailes, 78, of Newnan, GA, died at her residence Oct. 7, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family received friends at the funeral home Tuesday, 6-8 p.m.
• Eleanor Allison Chapman, of Senoia, GA, died Oct. 7, 2012. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan. Burial was in Senoia City Cemetery. The family received friends Monday 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
• John C. “Johnny” Davis Sr. died at his home in Fayetteville, GA, on Sept. 26, 2012. A family-style cookout to celebrate his life will be held for friends and family at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 1107 Selfridge Rd./Tara Air Field, Hampton, GA. • Margaret Sewell Duncan, 85, of Griffin, GA, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at the Brightmoor Hospice. Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 8 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, Griffin. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends visited the family on Monday, Oct. 8 from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
• Charles A. “Tony” Pinson Sr. died at his residence on Oct. 9, 2012. A Veterans of Foreign Wars memorial service conducted by the State of Georgia VFW 3rd District Honor Guard will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home followed by the rosary. The Vigil Scriptural Rite of Christian Burial will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. at St. George Catholic Church in Newnan. His remains will be cremated following the Funeral Mass and placed in the cubiculum at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
• Elizabeth Spear, formerly of Newnan, GA, died Oct. 8, 2012. Services will be announced by Alfonso Dawson Mortuary, Atlanta.
• The Rev. Dr. Gerald S. Troutman, 78, of Newnan, formerly of Atlanta, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The memorial service is Saturday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 731 Peachtree St., NE, Atlanta, GA. The family will receive friends at the church 12:30-2 prior to the service. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, is handling arrangements.
