Mr. Lonnie Milfred Roper
Mr. Lonnie Milfred Roper, age 69, of Moreland, GA, died at Piedmont Newnan Hospital on Oct. 3, 2012.
He was born in Tahoka, Texas, on Jan. 31, 1943, to the late Fred Roper and Mildred Breland Roper.
He was a machinist for U.S. Machine Co.
Surviving are his wife, Jo Ann Roper of Moreland; sons, Kirk (Jamee) Roper of Odessa, TX, and Todd (Cindy) Roper of Pendergrass, GA; daughters, Sheri (Philip) Marcellis of Franklin, Allie (Craig) Chaffin of Moreland, and Amy (Wesley) Kerlin of Sharpsburg; brother, Gary (Katherine) Roper of Eatonton; sisters, Shirley Roper and Frieda (G.K.) Reading, all of Lubbock, TX; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at Luthersville Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Worthey officiating. The family will receive friends at the church today, Saturday, from noon until service time.
