Mrs. Sara Lewis Rea
Mrs. Sara Lewis Rea, 82, of Newnan, GA, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. She was born May 11, 1930, in Coweta County, GA, to the late William Yates “Buddy” West and Fannie M. McGee West.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by husbands, Walter Ernest Lewis & Theron Miles Rea; son, David Pearce Lewis; daughter, Linda Sue Lewis Waldron; granddaughter, Leslie Deanne Lewis; brothers, George W. West, J. Robert West, William C. West Sr., James William West; sisters, Mary Jacobs, Sue Hubbard, Margaret Bendfelt, Bonnie Harris.
Sara was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and she retired in 1993 from the William L. Bonnell Company after 34 years of service. Family and friends were always at the forefront of her life.
The funeral is Friday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Rev. Searcy Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The visitation is Thursday evening between 6-8 at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan.
