• Nancy Helen Harris, 96, of Turin, GA, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at Southland Health and Rehabilitation. The family will receive friends Thursday, Sept. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, GA. Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 28 at 11 a.m. at Turin Baptist Church. Burial will be in Turin Memorial Gardens.
• Sara Lewis Rea, 82, of Newnan, GA, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The funeral is Friday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation is Thursday 6-8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan.
• Carl “Chuck” Dennis Readd, 69, of Franklin, GA, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 4-6 p.m.
• Julia Bridges Summer, 82, of Newnan, GA, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012. The family will receive friends Thursday, Sept. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan. The funeral service will be Friday, Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be held in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
