• Bruce Donald Davis Sr., 84, of Stockbridge, GA, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with burial in Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City.

• Connie Sue Grant, 36, of Grantville, GA, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012. Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. at the Grantville First Baptist Church. Burial in Shadow Lawn Cemetery in LaGrange, GA. Visitation is Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 6 until 8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, GA.
• Lavonia Bryant Richards, 86, of Newnan, GA, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 1 p.m. at Central Baptist Church, Newnan. The casket will lie in state at the church from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation was held Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 6 until 8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, GA.
• Omarion Smith, age 8, of Fairburn, GA, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and have been entrusted to Sellers-Smith Funeral Home, Inc., Newnan.

Visitation was Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange.
