Mrs. Lisa Parsons Walker
Mrs. Lisa Parsons Walker, 46, of LaGrange, GA, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Walker was born Oct. 19, 1965, in Newnan, GA, and was a member of The Church of God of the Union Assembly, Newnan, GA. She was employed as a secretary with the Troup County Comprehensive High School. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her first husband, John J. Parsons.
Survivors include her husband, Danny K. Walker; step-daughter, Joni Danielle Watkins (Ronnie); grandson, Danny Cain Watkins; mother and step-father, Joy and Danny Davis; father, John Spradlin; sister, Lori Simmons (Jesse); step-brother, Chris Davis; niece, Jennifer Duncan (Jonathan); nephew, John Simmons; great-nephew, Jayden Duncan; and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at The Church of God of the Union Assembly, Hwy. 34, Newnan, GA, with Reverend Jesse W. Hughes, Reverend Jurandon Hughes, and Reverend Johnny Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Newnan, GA. The gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home,
