John N. Hunn, 65, of Newnan died Friday, September 21, 2012, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
He was born October 1, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late John L. & Wainta Hunn.
John received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and his MBA from Oklahoma University.
He retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a Loan Analyst Specialist. After retirement he and his wife moved to Newnan, GA, where John was an active member of the community.
He was a member of the Newnan Rotary Club and the Piedmont Hospital Auxiliary. He was an active member of Christ our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City.
The visitation and viewing is Monday evening between 6-8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St, Newnan.
The memorial service is Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Miriam Beecher officiating.
Inurnment will follow at the church columbarium.
