• Little Miss Reagan Nevaeh Godfrey, age 5 months, of Union City, GA, died at Piedmont Fayette Hospital Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Sewell Mortuary Inc., Grantville, GA.

• Janice Barbara Helton, 77, of Whitesburg, GA, died at her residence on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan, GA. Burial will be in Whitesburg City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, Sept. 20, 5-8 p.m.
