Mr. Morris 'Train Man' Keen
Mr. Morris "Train Man" Keen, age 84, of Moreland, Ga., passed on Sept. 15, 2012, at the Georgia War Veterans Home in Augusta, Ga. He was born in Shipman, MS, to the late Homer M. Keen and Ida M. Odom Keen.
Mr. Keen served in the United States Air Force and was a member of St. George Catholic Church. Mr. Keen is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Keen; and by his daughter, Teresa Ann Blatt. He is survived by daughters Jacquelyn and husband George Smith of Moreland, GA, Deborah and husband Kenneth Gable of Greenville, GA, Wanda Hann and Robert Heddings of LaGrange, GA. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home with Deacon Steve Beers officiating. Burial will be in Georgia National Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, Sept. 17, from 6-8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home.
