• Dorothy A. Cureton, 79 of Newnan, GA, died at Piedmont Newnan Hospital Sept. 11, 2012. The family will receive friends at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan, 6-8 p.m. today, Sept. 13. Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Palmetto Cemetery in Brunswick, GA.
• Nancy R. Eschbach of Newnan, GA, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park. The family will receive friends Friday 5-7 p.m. with a Rosary and Vigil service at 7 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, GA.

• Robert Alan McElwaney Sr., 63, of Stone Mountain, GA, died Sept.10, 2012. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14 in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
• Leroy Taylor, 71, of Whitesburg, GA, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 14 at 2 p.m. at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel, Carrollton, GA. Burial will be in Whitesburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday 1 until 3 p.m. and 5 until 8 p.m.
