• Ralph Wayne Belcher, 59, of Palmetto, GA, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at his residence. Memorial services will be announced later by Holly Hill Funeral Home, Fairburn, GA.
• Dorothy Viola “Dot” Gardner, 92, of Franklin, GA, died at Tanner Medical Center May 7, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 11 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan. Burial will follow at 1:30 at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, 6-8 p.m.
• Acaiba Patrice Gay, age 42, of Carrollton, GA, died on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 11 at 2 p.m. at Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home chapel, Newnan, GA. Viewing is Thursday, May 10 from 2 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
• William Edward Jones III, 65, of Newnan, GA, died at his residence May 7, 2012. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow later in Slidell, Louisiana.
• Udolphus Daulton “U.D.” Payne, 91, of Newnan, GA, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Avalon Health & Rehabilitation. The funeral is Friday, May 11 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday evening between 6-8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA.
• Paul E. Winter, 68, of Hogansville, GA, died Monday, May 7, 2012. A memorial service will be 5 p.m., Thursday, May 10 in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately before and after the service.
