Mrs. Margaret A. Ellard
Mrs. Margaret A. Ellard, age 84, of Newnan, died at Abundant Living Personal Care Home in Comer, Georgia, on May 18, 2012.
She was born in Newnan on April 12, 1928, to the late Gilbert and Katie Huffmaster Abercrombie.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Melvin Robert Ellard in 1989.
Survivors are her sons, Phillip Robert Ellard of Stone Mountain and Bilbert Robert Ellard of Cannon; daughter, Beverly Thompson of Crestview, FL; 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Ellen Edgar of Thomasville, Lorriane Defratdas of Douglas, Helen Huddleston of Thomasville, and Betty Jo Nelson of Oregon.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 11:00 a.m.
