• Katherine A. Alford, 92, of Newnan, GA, and formerly a longtime resident of LaGrange, GA, died March 5, 2012. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 5 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, GA.
• Thomas Edward Camp, 88, of Moreland, GA, died April 27, 2012, at his residence. Funeral arrangements were handled by McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan. Visitation was Sunday evening and Monday at 1 p.m. The funeral was Monday, April 30 at 2 p.m. in the McKoon Funeral Home chapel. Burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
• Cora Dennis, 73, of Newnan, GA, died May 1, 2012, at Heritage Healthcare of Franklin. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Sellers-Smith Funeral Home Inc., Newnan.
• James D. “Jamey” Head, 31, of Cleveland, GA, died April 28, 2012. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan GA.
• George Allen Smith, 84, of Hogansville, died Sunday, April 29, 2012. Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Wednesday, May 2 in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with burial in Hillview East Cemetery in LaGrange.
• Herbert P. Smith, 88, of Peachtree City, GA, died at Dogwood Forest Assisted Living on April 25, 2012. He is being cremated and his ashes will be buried at the family plot in Trotman, GA. Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Newnan, GA
• James Oliver Thomas, 45, died April 27, 2012. The funeral will be Thursday, May 3 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, GA. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be at the funeral home Wednesday 6-8 p.m.
• Sybil Virginia Titshaw, 87, of Newnan, GA, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at Regency Hospital South Atlanta. Funeral services were held Monday, April 30 in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family received friends Sunday, April 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
