Mr. Glenn Allred, age 77, of Newnan, GA, died at his residence on Tuesday, April 17, 2012.
He was born in Twinton, TN, on May 5, 1934, to the late Gillis Allred and Etta King Allred. Mr. Allred was employed by General Motors.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Tipton Allred, in January 2000. Surviving are his son, Jeff Allred (Erika) of Newnan; daughters, Teresa Thompson (Don) of Michigan, and Tina Vanbroekhoven (Lois) of Newnan; brother, Roy Allred of Crossville, TN; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, at Jennings Funeral Home in Jamestown, TN, with interment to follow at Waters Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time.
