Mr. James Edward “Jimmy” Cole of Geneva, Ala., formerly of Grantville, Ga., passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012. He was 62.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
Mr. Cole was born Dec. 12, 1949, in Newnan, Ga., to the late Roy and Wilma Adams Cole. He served 12 years in the U.S. Army, which included tours in Germany and Korea. Jimmy was a wonderful husband, father and grandpa.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Hosmer Cole, Geneva; one son, Russell Cole (Shelley) Dickson, TN; three daughters, Sherry Slaton, Grantville, GA, Candace Cole, Columbus, GA and Stacy Evans (Adam), Cedartown, GA; one brother, Sam Cole, Grantville, GA; 10 grandchildren and other extended family.
