Mrs. Emma Belle Roan Huff, age 74, of Orlando, died at Orlando Regional Medical Center after a tragic accident on April 24, 2012.
She was born in Newnan, Georgia, on November 30, 1937 to the late Charles Mosley Roan of Palmetto, Georgia and Eleanor Orr Blalock.
Her step-father was the late Daniel Braxton Blalock of Newnan, Georgia.
She attended Agnes Scott College and received her J.D. from Woodrow Wilson College of Law in 1972 Magna Cum Laude, passing the Georgia Bar the same year.
Mrs. Huff was an active member of United Church of Christ in Orlando.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Elvin Huff in 1993.
Surviving are her daughter Eleanor Farmer Meeker and her husband Richard Kent Meeker of Atlanta, Georgia; and son, Millard Courtney Farmer and his wife Margaret Austin Farmer of Newnan, Georgia.
Her step-children include Gerald Elvin Huff Jr. of Orlando, Florida, Ann Huff Mimms and her husband Larry Allan Mimms of Orlando, Lynn Huff Roney and her husband Kenneth R. Roney of Greeley, Colorado, and Steven Huff and his wife Sandy Huff of Orlando.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 27 at the Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Leigh G. McCaffrey officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Mrs. Huff to the First United Church of Christ of Orlando, 4605 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida 32812. Mrs. Huff was a particular advocate for Rebecca’s Food Pantry coordinated by the church.
