Mr. James J. Wrightson Jr.
Mr. James J. Wrightson Jr., age 85, passed away on April 9, 2012.
He was born in Worcester, Mass, son of James J., Sr. and Thyra Wrightson. He was a veteran of World War II, and was a life member of the American Legion. He was the director of engineering for Morgan Construction Company for 40 years and finished his working career as a supervisor for Neilson Research in Venice Florida.
He was a member of the White Oak Golden K Kiwanis Club in Newnan for five years. He leaves his wife of 30 years, Ceil Wrightson; son, James J. Wrightson III, and a daughter, Debra, both from Worcester, MA; three step-children, Donna Guillaume, from Northbridge, MA, Robert Caron, from Holden, MA, Sandra Winkler, from North Port, FL; two sisters, Barbara Smith, from Galesville, MD, Patsy Reardon, from Worcester, MA; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He will be remembered for his presence, humor, and joy of life he shared everywhere he went.
A Funeral Mass will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at St. George Catholic Church with Father Austin Fogarty officiating. Those wishing may send an online condolence to www.mckoon.com .
