An ongoing Coweta Sheriff's Office undercover operation has led to the arrest of four individuals on numerous drug charges, including selling of cocaine at a Senoia residence.

The residence -- 273 Glazier Road -- has seen similar arrests in the past, and has had "complaints of drug dealing for years," investigators said.

One suspect, who bonded out of the Coweta County Jail on Wednesday, was re-arrested the next day after authorities were tipped off he was back out selling drugs. That suspect was caught with a "large amount of cocaine" on him the second time, investigators said.

Over the past few weeks, the Coweta County Crime Suppression Unit received numerous complaints of ongoing drug dealing at the Senoia residence.

"People would call about several cars coming in and then leaving after a few minutes," said Victor McPhie, an investigator with the Coweta County Sheriff's Office Crime Suppression Unit (CSU). "There were complaints of individuals selling inside the residence and outside."

The crime unit set up surveillance and later had a confidential informant purchase "large quantities of crack cocaine" from suspects at the residence, McPhie said.

On Jan. 27, authorities executed a warrant and arrested two individuals -- Jennifer Michelle Gooding, 29, and Karwaski Markez Mitchell, 25. Gooding had cocaine on her at the time and Mitchell was outside the house selling cocaine, McPhie said.

Investigators also found bags of cocaine throughout the house, including in a fishbowl in Gooding's bedroom.

On Tuesday, authorities received information that another suspect was back at the house selling drugs. The CSU and Warrant Unit found James Demetrius McGhee, 27, there. McGhee fled on foot and was captured about 500 yards in the woods, McPhie said.

McGhee bonded out of jail on Wednesday and the CSU was tipped off McGhee was back out selling drugs. The team set up a search area and McGhee was arrested at a traffic stop Thursday, the investigator said.

At that time, McGhee was found with a large amount of cocaine on him. Another individual in the car, Shekeiva Dorchea Parker, 23, also was arrested.

Among the charges filed, according to McPhie, are: McGhee, three counts of sale of cocaine and one count of possession of cocaine with intent; Parker, party to a crime of the sale of cocaine; Gooding, two counts of sale of cocaine; Mitchell, possession of cocaine with intent and possession of marijuana.

"We ask residents to please continue to contact the Coweta County Crime Suppression Unit tip line for complaints of drug activity," McPhie said.

Individuals can call the sheriff's office at 770-253-1502. Callers can also report information using the county's anonymous tip line, 770-253-2324.
