Mr. George Henry Coursey, age 77, of Newnan, died at Piedmont Newnan Hospital on November 13, 2009. He was born in Greenville, SC, on April 14, 1932, to the late George H. Coursey Sr. and Elizabeth Gibson Coursey. He was employed by H.V.A.C. at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a stepson, Tony Duncan. Surviving are his wife, Brenda L. Coursey of Newnan; son, George Michael Coursey and his wife Shirley of Vidalia; daughter, Melissa Crane of Cylacauga, AL; stepson, Robert Duncan and his wife Christie of Newnan; stepdaughter, Melody Guinn and her husband Scott of Rutledge, GA; grandchildren, Wayne Duncan, Adrian Coursey, Faithe Duncan, Alycia Duncan, Dustin Crane, Austin Crane, Emerald Keith, Samantha Keith, Isabella Keith-Duncan, Codie Freeman, J.W. Guinn, J.R. Guinn, Chassidy Duncan and Lucas Duncan.

Funeral services will be held today, November 15, at 2 p.m. at the Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park. The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday, 6-8 p.m.
